It's easy to live in a fanatic way and it's easy to live in a lazy way. What's hard is living a balanced life.

This course focuses on creating balance in your own life by establishing your own daily spiritual practice in the Amrit Vela.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji demonstrated a path of self-transformation in his own life. In this course we will learn how to follow his steps and transform ourselves to be more balanced and effective in our life and work.

This course is a continuation of the work we did in the first part of our Guru Nanak Within Me series. The first part is called The Universe is Your University. You can take this course all by itself, if you wish, but taking both parts will deepen your experience.

In this course we will address the following questions:

  1. What is Guru Nanak's teaching regarding spiritual practices?
  2. Why get up early in the morning?
  3. How does a daily spiritual practice help me be a positive, elevated person and help me elevate myself and others?
  4. How do I develop and deepen my own spiritual practice?
  5. How can practicing in the Amrit Vela improve my life?

Learn these skills:

Cleaning the mental garbage and negativity from your life.

Establishing your daily routine.

Harnessing the benefit of waking up in the Amrit Vela.

Creating your own effective daily spiritual practice.

Time Commitment: Mini Course (2-3 hrs)

This course can be completed in two or three sittings. It's recommended to take time for self-reflection and personal practice in between lessons.

“The reason Guru told us to get up in the Amrit Vela is that first, this is a clear time, and second, at this time when the sun is just starting to come up to the horizon, you have the opportunity to catch the wave, as if you were surfing. You get up on that wave and that solar energy carries you through the day.”
