The 57th Salok of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji have been thoughtfully developed in 57 chapters. Each chapter focuses on 1 Salok making its message easier to explore, understand and connect with everyday life. Every chapter includes spiritual insights, critical thinking questions that encourage you to examine your beliefs, practical questions and answers that connect the teaching to everyday life and discussion and reflection questions for both individual and group learning.
This course is not only about reading Gurbani it is an invitation to pause, reflect and gradually bring Guru Sahibs wisdom into the way we think, respond, make decisions and live.
Your Instructor
G.P. Singh is an innovator, successful entrepreneur, a highly published research scientist, and civic leader. In 1986, he formed Karta Technologies, Inc. and grew it into San Antonio’s largest defense contractor for professional services. The company’s success led to its acquisition in 2007 by NCI Information Systems, Inc. (NCIT-NASDAQ).
Along the way, Dr. Singh has published more than 50 technical papers and numerous reports related to ultrasound, power plant maintenance and operations, artificial intelligence, computer-based learning, and was granted six US patents for his inventions.
His wife, Parvinder (Winkey) Kaur has been a pivotal partner in the family’s successes. Dr. Singh and his family are engaged locally and nationally in Sikh issues, supporting key tenets of tolerance and understanding, not only for Sikhs but for all people.
